FORECAST: mid afternoon shower possible on the 4th

SAN ANTONIO--FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST ALBERT FLORES

WHAT WE’RE TRACKING
Generally dry but there will be a slight chance of
an afternoon shower between 1-7 PM

WHAT’S HAPPENING
Upper ridge in the Western US is keeping us dry

Gulf strengthening the southeast flow, therefore
more humid today. Showers and storms possible today
in the Eastern Zone, and a slight chance for isolated
showers and storms in SA Saturday. An upper high pressure
system builds from the Atlantic starting on Sunday, dry and
hotter next week!

Saturday and Sunday: Highs in the mid 90s, heat index
values closer to 99. Partly sunny, 20% chance for showers
and storms. Onshore flow moderate today and tomorrow,
stronger on Sunday and Monday.

FORECAST:
Tonight: Partly cloudy Low 75
Independence Day: Partly sunny, 20% chance for isolated
showers and Tstorms High 92 Heat index near 98
